Systems 4 Recycling have installed a number of classified RDF cubing systems into the UK’s waste Industry – our largest reference being the Fibrefuels Limited site at Slough. This system,
with seven RDF cubers in operation is the largest RDF cubing facility in the UK, has been in operation since 2001.
Classified RDF – having been shredded to a suitable size, de-metalled and classified, can be densified into a fuel cube, suitable for burning on either an inclined grate boiler
or within a fluidized bed boiler.
Systems 4 Recycling have also installed a number of these RDF cube production plants in Japan, serving a number of paper mills and enabling them to utilise their production scrap paper and plastics as a viable fuel source.
